It is rare that UNO students protest. But on Tuesday March 23, 2010, the "Save UNO" coalition of students, faculty and staff launched a jazz funeral protesting Governor Jindal's repeated cuts of Louisiana higher education (with more cuts to come). These cuts have been degrading the education UNO students receive, too, and have seriously been affecting UNO as a workplace for faculty and staff.
