It has become an annual ritual that members of the Louisiana Association of Teachers of German (LAATG) meet at Center Austria to update each other about what is being done in the state of Louisiana to keep the teaching of the German language alive and well. Members from LSU, Tulane, and various area high schools spoke about their programs and efforts to attract students to the German language on December 7, 2024.
