The corner stone of Center Austria's programming is the vibrant student exchange with its partner institution, the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
Publications
Contemporary Austrian Studies (CAS), the Center’s flagship publication, is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to the empirical investigation of modern-day Austrian history, politics, and society. It is published jointly by University of New Orleans Press and Innsbruck University Press.
Exhibitions & Public History
The Center produces exhibitions and corresponding publications as part of its public-facing initiatives.
Conferences & Symposia
The Center has been organizing joint annual symposia wit the University of Innsbruck, and in 2022 hosted the Annual Meeting of the Austrian Studies Association in New Orleans.
