Once a year Center Austria welcomes members of the Louisiana Association of Teachers of German (LAATG) to campus for their bi-annual meeting. 

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Gundela Hachmann, Chapter president, and Dr. Marc Landry, Director of Center Austria.

The wide-ranging agenda covered updates about professional development, the enrollment at LA high schools, a German language summer camp at LSU, study abroad, and advocacy for German Studies in Louisiana.
