The History Exchange:

A Podcast Series

About the Project

The historians Eva Pfanzelter and Marc Landry conceived the idea for establishing a podcast through transatlantic collaboration and assumed leadership of the project. This endeavor not only casts a wide net over contemporary Austrian and American historiography but also brings together students from the United States and Austria. Through a joint accompanying seminar, it provides a deeper insight into the academic field.

The inaugural season of the collaborative podcast project, "History Exchange," showcases interviews with experts in contemporary historical scholarship. These interviews are primarily organized and conducted by master's students from the universities of Innsbruck and New Orleans.

We are delighted to have garnered colleagues from various fields including contemporary, economic, social, and environmental history, library and archival studies, as well as museology. This broad array of contributors enables us to offer a multifaceted representation of our profession.
